growing up my mom had these framed botanical illustrations in our dining room. For some reason i've always loved them. recently when i was back home visiting i informed her that when she dies, they're mine. she mentioned my sister already tried claiming them. i hope my sister also plans to learn how to fight, cause there's no way in hell she's getting them without knocking me out first. my entire approach to drawing is based on those illustrations of walnuts and leaves. if she thinks she's getting them she's out of her fucking mind.
i probably should have kept that story to myself.
